We deliver and set-up our patient's equipment for them, at that time they are educated by either trained technicians or respiratory therapist as part of the set-up we thoroughly assess them to determine the level of there condition which in some cases may qualify them for our extensive respiratory rehabilitation program, which is explained in another section. Our in house pharmacy helps us provide options to our nebulizer patients that most competitors cannot provide. Our pharmacy gives us the ability to provide many exciting options for our patients needing nebulizers and medications. Specializing in inhalation medications and compounding allows us to provide many medications in the same vial at several different strengths in order to suite all of our patients needs in a simple and convenient manner. Our compounding abilities has given us the opportunity to provide steroids to our patients that could save them as much as $200 to $300 a month. Medicare does not pay for inhaled steroids in MDI (Meter Dose Inhalers) form, which cost the patients, as much as $125 each, and in most cases patients require 2 a month. Through our program patients that have been prescribed Albuterol, ipratropium, or both can have their steroids added as a third drug in most cases for free. Providing this service increases compliance, which keeps your patients out of the emergency room. Patient retention is very important today and we feel if you make your patient feel better and save them a substantial amount of money you make a very loyal patient.
