Jim Nash is our Human Resources and Accreditation Manager. Jim’s main responsibility is to implement policies and procedures for documenting and retrieving information and processing medical documents in conformance with federal, state, and local statutes and accreditation agencies. As the Human Resources Manager Jim coordinates and implements the education of the staff along with developing additional in-service materials that are used for staff instructional programs.
Ann Holder
Ann Holder is our registered nurse who is in charge of taking orders for customer equipment and services. Along with follow up information in regards to the products and or services including issues of safety, insurance coverage, delivery schedules, and company billing practices. Ann is also able to provide clinical support for specific patient service calls.
Libby Cardwell
Libby Cardwell is one of our pharmacy technicians whose main responsibility is customer service and follow up. Libby uses a specialized computer program to track shipments and follow up with patients every 25 days for renewal. In the process of following up she makes sure the medication is working properly and refers any problems or concerns to the pharmacist when necessary.
Deana Jett
Deana Jett is our Office Manager whose main activity is to coordinate the activities of various department supervisors. Deana is also in charge of our public relations therefore, giving her the added responsibilities of working closely with doctor and hospital staffs, in conjunction with managing emotional patients, caregivers, and referral sources.
Lisa McDonald
Lisa McDonald is our Office Assistant who is a cross trained employee, which gives her the skills to assist or fill in for all positions within the operations of the office. Her main day-to-day activities include routing calls to the proper person, analyzing patient records for accurate information, and making changes if needed.
Sandi Nichols
Sandi Nichols is our Billing and Insurance Administrator who’s day to day activities include using a computerized system to process insurance claims and patient billing. Sandi works to insure that the receipt of benefits assigned to Medical Home Care, Inc. are timely and accurate. She works with insurance companies such as Medicare and other funding entities. Also, she promptly responds to patient needs, which include billing statement inquires and aiding in the establishment of payment plans.
David McDonald
David McDonald is our Facility Manager; his main activities include maintaining daily operation of the warehouse, coordinating delivery and service functions, monitoring inventories, along with equipment repair and maintenance. David also dispatches and directs our service technicians in the most efficient manner regarding the location of the individual patients. He also makes sure all equipment is cleaned and properly tagged to ensure environmental safety.
Matthew Newsome
Matthew Newsome is one of our Patient Care Service Technicians. His main activities include planning an efficient schedule for delivering and picking up equipment as patient needs dictate. He also performs safety assessments when setting up and installing patient equipment, and informs patients that Medical Home Care, Inc. is available 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
Brandy Shaw
Brandy Shaw is our Pharmacy Technician who works with a pharmacist to fill and accurately label vials for shipment and delivery to patients. While filling medications she adheres to the Alabama State Board of Pharmacy regulation regarding technicians, which is outlined in Article 6 paragraph 34-23-130, and Article 7 paragraph 680-X-2.14. Along with filling the medication, Brandy uses a specialized computer program to track shipments and to follow up with patients every 25 days for renewal. In the process of following up she makes sure the medication is working properly and refers any problems or concerns to the pharmacist when necessary.
